Ardiss offers students the opportunity to access different canteen areas, located on the territory at universities’ headquarters. Students and doctoral candidates access the canteen service at a reduced fee. It is also possible to ask for a further price reduction depending on the income range.
Who can access the canteen?
Students of the University of Trieste and University of Udine, who are enrolling for the academic year 2019/20 on:
- Bachelor’s programmes;
- Master’s degrees programmes;
- Single-cycle Master’s Degree Programmes;
- specialisation courses;
- doctoral courses;
- level 1 and level 2 master’s degrees;
- courses of practical training
Students of the Music Conservatory “G. Tartini” in Trieste and of the Music Conservatory “J. Tomadini” in Udine who are enrolling for the academic year 2019/20 on:
- courses of the upper Three-year Bachelor’s programme;
- courses of the Second Level Two-year specialisation course.
Students enrolled at the Trieste, Udine and Pordenone Higher Technical Institutes (I.T.S.)
Scholars of the University of Trieste, University of Udine and public research bodies
Students enrolled in a PhD or Master’s degree at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste
Incoming Erasmus students participating in international exchange projects
Foreign students, participating in intensive Italian language courses run by the universities themselves.
Other users may access the canteen with prior permission from Ardiss following the submission of a special application.
How do I access the canteen points?
At the University of Udine, students can access the canteen points with their University Card (Smart Card). Other categories of users, not in possession of Smart Cards, can go to the Student Desk to request the release of the canteen card. Students enrolled in inter-university courses between the Universities of Trieste and Udine can access the refreshment points of both offices of Ardiss, upon request to be sent by e-mail to the Ardiss headquarters corresponding to the University’s administrative seat of their degree course, to which the student pays the fees.
All students are assigned the € 4.80 range. You can request access to reduced-rate catering service for certain income groups by filling out the online application for benefits ARDISS by 31st December 2019, selecting among the various benefits of catering services at reduced rates, and entering the data ISEE for performance for the Right to Education 2019. After the deadline of 31st December 2019, you can no longer ask for access to the low-rate catering service. The concessionary fare required for the academic year 2019/20 will be activated on 1st January 2020 and will be valid until 31st December 2021. Exceptions are students enrolled in the first year, for which the reduced-rate will be already accessible since the release of the canteen card or Smart Card. The card allows the student to benefit of the service in the following ranges:
