The University Centre for Sport of the University of Udine organizes several sports activities for students, professors, administrative staff, and all those who are interested. The CUS is a nationwide organisation that is present in every Italian University. There are two members of the students’ committee who represent students, two members of the CUSI (Centre for Sport in Italian Universities), the administrative director of the University and the Dean, that altogether make the decisions regarding the CUS. At CUS you can practice:
- Recreational activities: whoever wants to keep in shape and have fun at the same time, indoor and outdoor
- Competitions: intended for people who want to be part of a competitive environment
- National Competitions: for students who wish to represent the University of Udine in competitions against other universities
- National and International activities: spring tournaments and events like the Triathlon City in Udine.

- Palestra “Gabrielli”, ground floor (650 mq)
- Palestra verde, first floor (155 mq)
- Palestra arancio, first floor (155 mq)
- Palestra blu, second floor (70,60 mq, exepct the space needed for sport climbing)
Here you can play basketball (on the ground floor) and practice martial arts, boxing, yoga, pilates, fitness (on the upper floors).

During summer, in the morning, the outdoor swimming pool is reserved for children of recreational summer centers.
